So, if you are in a country where bird flu is present, you probably want to stay away from these dishes. In addition, if you see these birds, be sure to stay away from them at the market as well. In the United States, there is not a problem with eating poultry as of now, so you can feel free to still consume it regularly.

As you can see, if you simply practice a little proper hygiene, you can protect yourself from avian bird flu. In fact, you will likely get fewer traditional colds and other viruses and bacterial infections as well. When you take care of yourself and stay away from germs, you are less likely to get sick. So, when it comes down to it, you have to be sure you are doing basic things like washing your hands. In addition, if you are traveling abroad you really need to be even more aware of your personal hygiene habits.
