There are so many different diets and celebrities have tried them all. Just to mention a few, there is the 3 Hour diet, the 5 Factor diet, the Abs diet the Atkins diet, the cabbage soup diet, the Dr. Phil diet, the Grapefruit diet, the LA Weight Loss Diet, Martha’s vineyard Diet, the Nutrisystem Diet, using Slim-Fast Diet products to lose weight, the Sonoma Diet, the Ultimate New York Diet, the Weight Watchers Diet, The Zone Diet, and diets that the celebrities design like the Sommersize diet designed by Suzanne Sommers among other celebrity diets.
The 3 hour diet is from fitness pro Jorge Cruise and involves eating every 3 hours including three main meals, two snacks and one small treat. There are recipes, and food lists to follow and options for eating at chain restaurants. The diet is supposed to allow you to lose two pounds of weight a week. The diet is vegetarian-friendly, is flexible about what you can eat but not flexible about the fact that when you eat is strictly supposed to be adhered to.
Harley Pasternak who promises that the diet will reduce feelings of deprivation, increase your satisfaction and help you to lose weight created the 5-Factor diet. Everything in the diet is built around the number 5. You eat five meals a day; the meals consist of five basic components, and take no more than five minutes to prepare, with no more than five ingredients. There is a book of meal plans with 100 pages of recipes. You can cheat one day a week and exercise for (you guessed it) five days a week with a workout of five exercises, which you perform for five minutes each. The diet’s duration time is five weeks too. The five components of each meal is protein, low to moderate glycemic carbohydrates, fiber, healthy fats and sugar-free beverages. The plan is vegetarian friendly.
The Abs Diet promises to flatten your stomach in six weeks and you should also lose approximately 20 pounds of fat. The creator of this diet is David Zinczenko who says the diet will also decrease your risk of heart disease and diabetes, will boost your longevity and improve your sex life. Quite a feat for a diet.
There are 12 power foods that are the focus of the diet. The twelve foods include almonds and other nuts, beans and legumes, spinach and other green vegetables, dairy, instant oatmeal, eggs, turkey and other lean meats, peanut butter, olive oil, whole-grain breads and cereals, extra protein powder, and raspberries and other berries.
Exercise is important in this program with the focus on strength training.
Celebrities gravitate more towards the diets that include exercising and those that can give quick weight loss so these are all favorite diet programs.
