Diy skin care products for men – skincare is for men too

A few decades back, it was often assumed that physical appearance and vanity was strictly a female concern. Men were judged on their character, what they did or what they had achieved than seemingly superficial things like wrinkles ! Well, times have changed…and in my opinion, for the good.

DIY skin care for menWithout going into the reasons for these changes, most men are now as keen as women to “look the part”. Looking after your skin isn’t vain or superficial, it actually makes a lot of sense no matter if you are female or male. Consequently, there has been a growing interest in DIY skin care products for men.

So with this in mind, here are some simple, easy to make skin care products for men. And as skin is skin, you will find these products are just as good for the lady or ladies in your life too.

Some Quick Tips

1. To reduce the size of skin pores and soften skin, beat together two egg whites. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice as you beat, and apply as a facial mask. Wait until the mask dries, then rinse well with warm water.

2. To help reduce body odors, add three to four tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to warm bath water and soak.

3. To soften lips and prevent them from cracking, rub them daily with Shea butter.

4. Rub olive oil onto hands before putting on work gloves to prevent calluses.

One hint that works for both men and women is to remember that sun is especially damaging to the skin. Good skin care should include a daily application of sunscreen. This will significantly slow the aging process.
