We’re less than a month away from summer everyone and although we couldn’t be happier, our stomachs say otherwise. If you’re suffering with a little pooch and belly bloating don’t stress! We’ve got a few killer ab moves that’ll really have you feeling the burn and prep your stomach for that teeny bikini.
The first move is the infamous plank. Starting in pushup position, bend your elbows and lower yourself down until you shift your weight from your hands to your forearms. Flex your abdominals and hold this position for 60 seconds. If you need to take breaks in-between that’s completely fine. Ensure that you focus on your form, not dropping your hips or raising your bottom.
The next move is the Hip-Thigh Raise. Begin by lying on your back with your left knee bent and your right leg extended. Lay your arms onto the floor with palms forward at shoulder height with your hips about 2-3 inches off the ground. As your hips are raised to form a straight line, hold for 2-5 seconds and return back to starting position.
Last, we have our favorite love handle and waist slimming workout, the side plank. The side plank is perfect for targeting your oblique and really tightening your core. Lie on your right side with your legs straight and lift yourself up with your right forearm. Place your left hand onto your hip and you flex your abdominals and hold for 60 seconds. Once done, repeat onto the other side.
