Gout Arthritis : causes , symptoms of arthritis




Gout Arthritis:-

Deposition of uric acid crystals in the body tissues and painful joint inflammation is termed as gout. An overload of uric acid in the body causes an inflammation of joints is called as Gout. Chronic gout leads to deposition of uric acid around the joints and leads to joint inflammation, kidney stones, and decreased kidney function.

Gout causes and symptoms:-

  • Gout is one of the most frequently recorded medical disorder since many years.
  • It may be inherited from parents to children.
  • Uric acid is the byproduct of protein metabolism in the body, i.e.the metabolism of purines forms uric acid.
  • Body may produce excess uric acid abnormally.
  • Untreated GOUT leads to accumulation of uric acid in joints and causes painful arthritis.
  • Accumulated uric acid crystals in kidneys leads to kidney failure.
  • Gout refers to painful inflammation of joints called arthritis.

  • The accumulates in synovial fluid and synovial layer of articulating joints.
  • White blood cells in body fights against uric acid, as a result, inflammation, swelling, and heat is produced at joint site.

  • All patients with Gout have elevated uric acid level in body, but all who have elevated uric acid level may not have Gout.
  • Only less people have Gout with lower uric acid level in body.
