Gout diet : healthy food to treat gout arthritis
Gout diet:-
Gout patients should avoid food contains high Purines and Proteins as these increases the risk of Gout. After Purines metabolism in body, it increases uric acid production and increases gouty symptoms.
* Studies have confirmed that persons consumed regular meat were 40 % more likely to have Gout.
* Studies also confirms that the persons who ate sea foods for long time were 50 % more likely to have gouty attacks.
* In contrast to these studies, not all foods high with purines increases the risk of gout.
Even the following foods have high purines, they won’t increase the risk of gout, foods such as:-
* peas,
* beans,
* spinach,
* cauliflower, and mushrooms.
* People who are obese at risk of Gout. Because excess eating or fasting increases purines levels in body and causes Gout.
* People who have kidney stones also should avoid Purina rich diets as further increase of uric acid in body causes Gout.
* Consumption of alcohol can increase uric acid level and increase gout risk.
* The patients who have kidney stones should drink excess water nearly three liter a day to flush out uric acid crystals.
Foods contains higher purines and need to be avoided
Very high Purina containing foods are:-
* yeast,
* mussels,
* hearts,
* herring,
* smelt,
* sweetbread,
* sardines.
Foods with moderate high purines are:-
* mutton,
* liver,
* kidneys,
* veal,
* grouse,
* trout,
* goose,
* turkey, etc..

Healthy diet for Gout or Gout diet:-
* Drink 400 to 500 ml of milk per day to reduce the risk of gout by 50 percent.
* Use chicken instead of eating of mutton.
* Don’t consume beer and organ meat.
* Bread and cereals are healthy for gout.
* Peanuts, nuts, butter, and some vegetables can be consumed.
* Fruit juices, coffee, and tea are not harmful for gout patients.
Healthy and beneficial diet for Gout are:-
* Cherry and strawberries juice is a healthy diet for gout.
* Salmon, an oily fish, fatty acids of olive oil and nuts are known to reduce inflammation of Gout.
* Using tofu from soybeans is also beneficial in Gout.
* Foods high in carbohydrates are much beneficial.
* To control acute Gout, fasting for a week with orange juice and water consumption is better.
* Grapes, apple, peach, orange and pine apple juices are good diet for Gout.
* Salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, tomatoes, cabbage can be used for dinner by Gout patients.
* Foods have high potassium such as Banana, potatoes and green leaf vegetables are protective against Gout.
* Cucumber and cucumber juice are also beneficial diet for Gout.
