How to grow celery indoors – and never buy celery again!

You don’t need a lot of space to grow your own herbs and vegetables for the kitchen. Just follow these steps and soon you will have your own home-grown celery for free! Pinned this useful guide.

  1. Cut off the base from a celery stalk, rinse it and place it aside in a small saucer of warm water on a sunny windowsill – make sure the base is down and the stalks facing up
  2. After 5 to 7 days, transfer the plant to a planter and cover it completely with potting soil except for the small leaves that must stick out through the soil
  3. Water the plant regularly and watch it grow!
