Yes, you read that right Paleo PIZZA. I couldn’t believe it at first either. Pizza is definitely a Neanderthal NO-NO, but apparently modern cavemen weren’t exactly ready to give up one of their favorite dishes. The work around lies in the ingredients on making this beloved panned pie.

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups almond meal
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 cup organic marinara
  • 1 lb Italian pork sausage nitrate free
  • 2 yellow squash
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers
  • 3 green onions
  • 1/4 cup black olives
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves

What To Do:

The very first thing that you have to do is pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.

I know that baked goods also make it to the forbidden foods list, but recheck you ingredients and look! No source of grain or wheat whatsoever!!!!

While waiting for your oven to get to the right temp, simply mix all of your crust ingredients together thoroughly until thick.

When satisfied, roll it up a ball. Grease the pan, place the ball in the middle, then push down to follow shape ( I mean the shape of your pan.) The thinner the crust, the better.

Bake for a good 20 minutes.

Now while waiting, you can start with your toppings.

Slice up your sausage and sauté.

Dice your tomatoes, squash, and red peppers, chop your green onions, slice you black olives, and tear (with your bare hands) your basil leaves.

After the initial 20 minutes, evenly spread your marinara sauce on the crust then the rest of the toppings to follow.

Bake for another 20 minutes. Done.

Of course, you can always mix and match toppings, get creative, and add your faves. Try whatever you like. Just be sure to consult your Paleo Fobidden Foods List first.
