Neuritis : neuralgia causes, symptoms and Treatment

Neuritis pain  relief:-

Neuritis pain is the pain due to disorder of peripheral nerves. Inflammation of nerve associated with pain is termed as neuritis. this neuralgia may occur at any body part. usually neuralgia is seen in peripheral region. the pain increases with work. in some cases neuralgia is related to stress.

Causes of neuritis:

the nerve inflammation is due to following reasons

* external injury or trauma,

* nerve compression such as intervertebral disc prolapse,

* degenerative diseases,

* nerve infection,

* external toxins,

* improper body postures,

* metabolic disorders, etc.

Treatment of neuritis:-

• supportive treatment is given

• analgesics were also given

• physical therapy

• treat underlying specific disorders

• drugs such as amitriptyline, carbamazepine etc are used
