What You Need:
- 1 Orange
- 2 Teaspoons Honey (remember, the darker, the better!)
- 2 Cloves
- 1 Cup Drinking Water
What To Do:
You can start by boiling your water. While waiting for that to happen, you can peel your orange, take the peels, slice them and dice them, then put them in a glass jar with a lid. You can have the rest of the orange later for a healthy, tasty snack. Add the cloves and the honey too. By now your water should be ready, so go ahead and pour one cup of boiling water in. Mix with a spoon, seal it tight, and let it sit for about half a day or so. After 12 hours, stir it again, seal it again, and let it sit again for 12 hours. So although simple make, you will need to wait a day before you drink this stuff.
You can use a strainer and pour your orange peel tonic into a glass so that you won’t actually get any of the peels, but just all the good stuff from it, or you can drink it directly from the glass jar avoiding the peels with every gulp or by simply sticking in a straw and sipping away.
