Health QuestionsCategory: Medications60 mgs and still depressed…

…as fuck.  What gives?  I thought this was THE drug for pulling out of deep depression.  30mgs seemed to help a bit, but I’ve been on 60 for a week now and I can’t say my mood has improved.

Well maybe remeron isn’t for you. I stayed fairly depressed using it, (and also way too manic) but on Prozac I am feeling a lot better. Everyone responds differently to meds.

give it more time a week it’s nothing….anyway I felt that for me there’s not much diffrence between 30 and 60 (I’ve been on both) now I am on 45 but I still think that I could well be on 30 without feeling any dfirrence….

Thanks to both.  I think I’ll give it until my next pdoc visit, but I am am thinking Thorn may be right- this one just isn’t the one for me.

Mask, I am tending to agree with you too.  I am just not having the noticeable shift that I was expecting, going from 30 to 60.

Hi,

I have been on 45mg for 6 months and am still depressed, and have had one of my deeppest ever periods of depression for about 3 months. I thought 45mg was the max dose for this marzipan stuff!

Was taken off Ser$£$% after about 10 years, over 48 hours by my shrink – nearly went up the wall.

Anyone else find paranoia appearing while on Mirtazapine? I have… not fun. Seeing shrink tomorrow and asking for Cipralex…

Be well,

Hengist
