Anyone find that their dreams have a common theme/subject? Ever since taking topa, i have not only had bizarre and vivid dreams, but they tend to hold to a common subject…just checking to see if there was anyone else feeling as crazy as me!! Smiley

I’ve seen those dreams Rage, big fluffy teddy bears, rainbows and stars, those are called sweet dreams.

Re: Topamax and dreams
I have obsessive, repetive dreams.  Usually of whatever I did that day.  I wake up every 3 hours or so and then when I fall back asleep I have the same dream I just woke up from.  And then some nights I don’t have any dreams at all.

I know what you mean about obsessive! If I wake up in the middle of the night I can pick up right where I left off in my dream and sometimes it’s even difficult to distinguish my awake/alert stage from my dream stage. Can’t say it bothers me though…it is definitely entertaining and interesting. Smiley

Re: Topamax and dreams
You’re lucky then, I hate it.  I don’t feel like I’m getting rest.  It doesn’t feel like I’m actually dreaming or even sleeping, but more like tossing and turning and thinking about what I did the day before.  My mind replays things I said, did or saw over and over again.  I drift in and out of this weird almost-sleep thing until 4am when feel like I can’t be in bed anymore.  Then I get up and confuse the hell out of my dog.
