TB or Tuberculosis is a disease caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The bacteria can attack at any part of your body, but they usually attack in the lungs. In the early days TB was considered as a lethal disease and it was some how true because in the early 20th century the greater death ratio in America was due to TB. Then scientist discovered TB treatment and TB reduced in America and European countries. TB mainly spread through aspiration in lungs from one to another.
Causes of TB: TB spreads through air from one place to another. TB is caused by a bacterium known as Mycobacterium tuberclosis. TB spreads by using the utensils of TB patients or by cough. It is not confirm when TB bacterium turns one into TB patient after getting into body.
It depends upon one’s immune system how strong is to fight against mycobacterium tuberclosis and safe the host. But there are chances for the host in his life to be a TB patient with weaker immune system.
Tips to prevent TB: Unfortunately you or someone in your family is a victim of TB then don’t worry it is a curable disease and you can be back to your healthy life after treatment.
But during this time it is your moral duty to take precautionary measures to stop TB to spread. You can do this very well by acting upon certain habits.
(1) Use handkerchief during sneezing or coughing so that TB bacterium can’t spread in the air and enter someone during breath.
(2) Keep aside the crockery under your usage so that no one can use them specially the glass in which you drink water.
(3) Keep a separate arrangement of washing your clothes.
(4) Make an special arrangement ventilation in your room so that air can pass through easily and any one who see you may not be the victim of TB.
