One of the most coveted areas of a person’s body is usually their abs. Most personal trainers unanimously agree that abdominals are a real area of concern with most of their clients. It seems that everyone, everywhere is dying to have some washboard abs that they can show off during beach weather season! If you happen to be a part of this group, then have we got some awesome workouts for you! No longer covet other people’s abs, but instead be infinitely proud of the job you’ve done on your own.
The first workout is the deadbug. Grab a pair of dumbbells (start with a low weight that you feel most comfortable with) and lie down flat on your back. Bend your knees at 90 degrees with your feet touching the floor. Brace your abs and then begin to lift your right leg up above your hip and reach your left arm over your head. Then, quickly switch on over to the other side by then raising your left leg and placing your right arm overhead. That entire move is one rep!
The next move involves the use of a stability ball. Grabbing the ball, position it in front of you and place your forearms onto the ball. Brace your core and then raise your knees off of the floor. Now, begin to rotate yourself in circles with your forearms. Do half of the ‘stirring’ in a clockwise motion and then the other half in a counter-clockwise motion!
With these two moves you’ll be rocking killer abs in no time!
