When we say that coconut oil is an all around beauty product, we mean all around.  Another anti aging secret kept away in your kitchen, check out the top 5 beauty uses of coconut oil, cooking not included, complete for care from head to toe. Let’s go ahead and let the coconut oil craze begin.

1. Coconut Oil Face Mask

All you have to do is take 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and mix it with 1 tablespoon of honey in a bowl. Do so until you have a relatively smooth consistency. Then apply evenly on your clean, dry face and neck, let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, rinse off (preferably with cold water) then pat dry.

2. Coconut Oil Deep Facial Cleanser

Mix 2 tablespoons of coconut oil with 2 tablespoons of castor oil. Unlike the face mask mentioned above, there is more to this deep cleansing method of sorts than just slathering on the good stuff. Once you have your coconut oil concoction ready, you will need about 5 cups of boiling water. It is a good idea to get the pot on the stove while you are whisking away.

Take your boiling water into the bathroom, close the door, and pour into a basin put in a place where you can comfortably bend over and have you face a couple of inches above it. You want to get the steam to open up your pores.  Apply your mixture and massage it in. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes then rinse off with cold water (to help close the pores back up) and pat dry.

Great for right after a bath, no need to mix and match, once you have dried off, go ahead and slather your legs, arms, basically your whole body with extra virgin coconut oil. Kind of like a natural lotion of sorts, the coconut oil will not only moisturize your skin, but even lock the moisture in.

4. Coconut Oil Leave In Conditioner

Try doing this before you take a shower. Without even having to wet your hair, go ahead and slather coconut oil from root to tip.  When your hair is slightly damp, you can wrap it up in a shower cap and just let it sit there for anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Then you can go ahead and hop in the shower and rinse away. No need to shampoo or condition.

Do this about 2-3 times a week to see amazing results.

5. Coconut Oil Foot Treatment

From head to toe, coconut oil has it covered. Coconut oil is great for foot treatment too. Well, if you have calluses on your soles, of course, you will first have to take care of those nasties with a pumice stone or the like. Once you have scrubbed away, generously slather coconut oil all over your feet, not only the soles. Do not rinse off. Instead, put on a pair of socks and let it really seep in over night.

Follow up with your morning shower the next day.
