Brain tumors:-

Brain Tumors are the metastatic cancerous cells, spreads from one place to different places of the body. Brain tumors are the common and dangerous form of tumors, need kind attention to control it. Brain tumors are main tumors of central nervous system.

Brain tumor facts:-

• primary tumor : which occurs or originates in brain,
• secondary tumor : is a metastatic tumor, can originate elsewhere in body and spread to brain.

• The tumor can be identified as primary or secondary only after microscopic examination of tumor tissue.
• Brain tumor is diagnosed in most cases after diagnosing primary cancer or tumor.
• central nervous system disorders are identified usually after diagnosing metastasis tumors in body.

causes of brain tumor:-

• there is no exact cause for brain tumor.
• the risk factors of brain tumor are
• male : males are at high risk of brain tumor than females.
• particular race : brain tumors are common in certain races.
• aging : individuals aged after age 70 are susceptible to brain cancer.
• family history : individuals who have family history of brain tumor are at risk.
• radiation exposure : exposure to harmful radiations causes brain tumor in some cases.
• exposure to some chemicals, such as formaldehyde, vinyl chloride etc… are the risk factors.

Treatment of brain tumor:-
neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, medical oncologists will treat cancer with,

• anticancer drugs
• radiation, etc..
