What Is Dry Brushing?
Well, it is pretty much is what it sounds. Dry brushing is simply brushing your dry skin with a dry brush. You can do it both on your body as well as your face. You just wanna make sure that you use different bushes for each. Body brushes are bigger with sturdier bristles while the ones for the face as smaller with much more gentle bristles, of course.
How Do You Dry Brush?
Again, make sure that both your brush and your skin are dry. Then you can begin. Start from your ankles and make you way up “along your body’s lymphatic flows”. Do so with long but light, gentle but firm strokes. When you’re done with your legs and thighs, move on to your stomach, then arms, then shoulders.
For your ankles, underarms, and wrists, do so in a circular motion. As for the face, gently follow it’s contour.
Now your skin will most likely be a bit pink afterwards, which is perfectly normal. What isn’t right is if your skin is really red or sensitive to touch. Remember, whatever you do, DON’T BRUSH TOO HARD. You should know, after all, you will feel it.
When you’re done dry brushing, jump in the shower, or in your tub , clean your skin and get rid of any shedding.

If you’re are a dry brushing virgin, then you should only do it about 3 times a week until your skin adjusts to this technique. After some time, you can do it every day if want to.
