Let it sit for about 10 minutes- it may sting a bit, but that is normal.  Then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.

This is all mainly thanks to one of tumeric’s most active ingredients, which is curcumin. But aside from that, you will also get iron, manganese, vitamin B6, and potassium too.

If you are too lazy to make curry, you can easily spice up your rice with tumeric.  All you have to do is add one to two tablespoons into your rice water before you cook it and  you will have some yummy yellow rice when done.
